A poem by Robert Mestre

Love is
Love that
Love would
Love to
Love if
Love could
Love love

Not everything needs a title

So close
Yet so far
I need something really amazing to happen.

"A hundred days have made me older,
since the last time that I saw your pretty face...
A thousand lies have made me colder,
and I don't think I can look at this the same...
But all the miles that seperate,
disappear no when I'm
Your Face.

I'm here with you, baby,
but you're still on my
lonely mind,
I think about you, baby,
and I dream about you
all the time
I'm here without you, baby,
but you're still with me in my dreams...
And tonight it's only you ane me..."

(I don't feel like writing the whole song. blah. BTW, its Here Without You / 3 Doors Down)

I hate writing long sentances. I like. It. When they. Are. Choppy.
"Let your love be like the misty rains; coming softly but flooding the river"
-A Malagasy Proverb

"He knows a hero when he sees one. Too few characters out there, flying around like that, saving old girls like me. And Lord knows, kids like Henry need a hero. Courageous, self-sacrificing people. Setting examples for all of us. Everybody loves a hero. People line up for them, cheer them, scream their names. And years later, they'll tell how they stood in the rain for hours just to get a glimpse of the one who taught them how to hold on a second longer. I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams."
-Spiderman 2

"Cultivate Peace"

First they ignore you,
Then they laugh at you,
Then they fight you,
Then you win.
-Mahatma Gandhi

You must be the change you wish to see in the world.
-Mahatma Gandhi

An eye for an eye can leave the whole world blind.
-Mahatma Gandhi

Mahatma in Sanskrit means "Great Soul". Sanskirt is the classical language of Hindu religion and culture. Open an encyclopedia and read about it, or check this out.

I love birds.

When thou seest an eagle, thou seest a portion of genius; lift up thy head!
-William Blake

If the birds could take us with them, we would see how small the humans are from way up there...

I realized that if I had to choose, I would rather have birds than airplanes.
-Charles Lindbergh

Birds sing after a storm. Why don't we?

"...But remember, it's a sin to kill a mockingbird..."
-Harper Lee, To Kill a Mochingbird

So serene and beautiful

"There'll be bluebirds over the white cliffs of Dover, tomorrow, you just wait and see."
-Nat Burton

Without birds there is no concept of freedom in the world.

"Lord, thank you for the blessings in this life - the ones we undertsand and the ones we take for granted. And thank you for the birds who teach us to be free."

Paper and pencil.
(here are a few of my QOTD's [Quote of the Day] that I jot down during the day) (there were some things ppl said but I didn't have a pen with me or that it was Shabbat so I forgot them)
(The funniest thing is that one day I read a quote that went: "It is a good thing for an uneducated man to read books of quotations. lol):

September 8th:
"Everybody rushin somewhere, getting nowhere". -A neighbor

September 18th:
"She got Lucky with a Cookie". -Lara

September 29th:
"איך עברתי את החומה? הכיתי אותו כ"כ חזק עד שהוא נקרס והתפורר"

October 10th:
"Everybody's got his own secret agenda"

November 23rd:
"My parents taught me to walk and talk, and now all they want me to do is sit down and shut up" -Batsheva

November 24th:
"An eye for an eye can leave the whole world blind" -Mahatma Gandhi I think

November 27th:
Fish never experience fire (ever thinks about that?) [-except when they're in the oven!]

Same day:
Love doesn't cost anything, but the dates sure do!

November 29th:
A guy, proposing to his loved one, climbed a tall mountain with her. When they reached it's peak, he took her hand and said to her, "This is the highest a man can get on his own, can u help me get higher?" (aww!!) -Anna told me it was once on TV.

November 30th:
"We believe in democracy and all of this beautiful stuff" -Mrs. Lehmann

Same day:
"I'm gonna take the law into my own hands.."

December 6th:
"But why do you need 50 states? we got 13 (provinces) and we're doing just fine!" -Anna

December 14th:
"This paper just might as well be called 'Ukah'" -Mrs. Lehmann

Same day:
"See? The world is made out of squares!" -Anna trying to tell me that instead of calculating things from a graph to figure out where they are you just count the squares- i told her there are no squares in the air to count! So this was her response... lol

January 3rd:
"They're gonna end up going out... My life is going nowhere.." -JudahAnnaBanana

January 19th:
"We go to the Holy City" -Joe, on an sms

January 28th:
"Life is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get!" -Forrest Gump. This is the day I got the chocolate... (chocolate is good for your health hehe ;-D)

January 29th:
"When I was little, I made a birthday card for my friend with a crying girl on it. But my mother wouldn't let me give it to her. She made me make a new one" -Anna (always full of surprises myJudah (Annabelle! hehe!))

(January 29th was meant to be my Lucky Day- I wrote it on that day at the beginning of the year, but nothing special happened that day- not so lucky after all.)

January 31st:
"אני הראשונה שתגיע לחתונה שלך, אבל אל תתידדי עם ארסים" -My teacher Racheli Sar-El, to a friend of mine, who was disapponted that we can't hang out with arsim on our Shabbat Ulpana. I think this is quite prejudice, but to some extent she's right.

Same day:
"יעני, אין לך בשבילי ת'זמן" -Never mind, lol!

Btw, a day later I found out that Voldemort means flight of death (Vol De Mort), Lupin means a wolf, and Minirva means Athena, the goddess of love/beauty

February 2nd:
"Amor Vincit Omnia" - "Love Conquers All" -The Canterbury Tales
"Come, hither, love to me"- The Canterbury Tales

February 13th:
"כל החיים תשלומים" -My violin teacher

The next day, Valentines Day, day of mourning :P

February 19th:
"Bright blue and sometimes but it is really rare they are green"

February 20th:
"did you see your face??" -Shani C. How the hell can I see my face unless you put a mirror in front of me? LOL!

"Hey it's not like my life is peaches and roses..." -Benji (tall, British, funny)

Same day:
"שה' יוריד לנו גשם עם שמפו ומרכך" -Moran, from my class. LOL!

February 22nd:
"שמישהו יכבה את השמש!" -Shani C.

February (I forgot what the date was):
"Lawyers have their head screwed on wrong."
"I work around the clock. I have no life. It's disgusting"
-Some guy

February 27th:
Brandy passed away

March 6th:
"What do you want most?"

March 7th:
"Since when do u pray other than Friday night?" -Anna. If Only ...

March 8th:
"Hours later, walking home, my boots crunching on the snow, I bent my head backward to drink in the crystal stars. And slowly, as though the voice came from behind me, I heard a melody so sweet and pure that I had to hold myself to keep from shattering:

I wonder as I wander out under the sky"
