How is it that we identify ourselves with so many pop songs? That we take their lines and make it seem like that's exactly how we feel?

Is it because those feelings are feelings we all have, or is it becasue we just don't have the words to mold our OWN feelings so we rely on other's words to express what we meant. And what happens is that we recreate our feelings to fit around the songs, instead of creating songs to fit around our feelings.

The English language is very interesting...

Howcome when something is great its only aweS-O-M-E (some)?
And when something is horrible it's awF-U-L (full)?
the "awe" part is the good part, so it doesnt make sense that Some awe is great and Complete awe is horrible!

Saba fixed my iPod :-) (the earphones wouldn't go in all the way- there was something stuck in there. I knew I would have it fixed if I asked him to try)

[There's a trust that roots from the belief that if you're not there, anything can happen.
Like if you run away, back home no one can die.
If you close the door, how can something go wrong on the other side?
If I'm not there to see a downfall, it never happened]

The critics,
They run after us.
I am one.

Not everything has a meaning.
Not everything is supposed to be viewed like a painting on a wall
Not every composition of words has to be a museum exhibit.

Is it really as I see it- a War?
Am I fighting too hard to be the best and to stand on top?
And I wonder- how can six billion people all be the best? They can't be. One has to be the best. And that one is the one who gets noticed and praised.
The others are grains of sand packed tightly into an overstuffed world.

In every field and aspect, one person is the best. And in the field that I strive to master, I am not the best.

Miriam, you're a grain of sand.
Stop trying to fight.
It's not a war.
Be a prisoner.
Always
A
Prisoner.

Hey There Delilah / Plain White T's

Hey there Delilah
I know times are getting hard
But just believe me girl
Someday I'll pay the bills with this guitar
We'll have it good
We'll have the life we knew we would
My word is good

Hey there Delilah
I've got so much left to say
If every simple song I wrote to you
Would take your breath away
I'd write it all
Even more in love with me you'd fall
We'd have it all

One of my favorite songs:
What the World Needs Now / Jackie Deshannon

NJ

I'm in Northern New Jersey, a beautiful map of roads winding through hills and mountains and carved among different rich shades of green that are twisted into each other, stringing up into the blue sky.
I absolutely love it.
